Piazza Gae Aulenti is a modern pedestrian square located in Milan's Porta Nuova district, adjacent to the Porta Garibaldi railway station. Inaugurated in December 2012, the square serves as the focal point of one of Italy's largest urban regeneration projects. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, it features a 60-meter diameter circular fountain that cascades down two stories, creating a visually striking centerpiece. The piazza is surrounded by contemporary skyscrapers, including the UniCredit Tower, Italy's tallest building. Its central location and high foot traffic make it an ideal venue for experiential events and activations.
