
A wide range of brands including Google, Pepsi and NYX engaged in exciting brand experience activity over August, making the most of the summer sun to build connections with the public!
Just Egg
Plant-based egg alternative, Just Egg, launched in the UK in August following its success in the US market. With the help of The Department & Link Communication, Just Egg dropped a giant 5-metre-tall egg carton at the front of London King’s Cross Station accompanying sampling activity to thousands of members of the public.
Following their kick-off at King’s Cross, Just Egg’s launch tour visited various other locations including Brighton Sea Front and Bullring Birmingham.Â



Covent Garden was the perfect location for the Google Pixel Boutique pop-up at the end of August, connecting the brand with Londoners and tourists.
The pop-up allowed the public to get hands on with the new Google Pixel 10, with the Google experts showcasing its exclusive features and the capabilities of Google’s Gemini AI.



Pepsi
Pepsi brought their shuffleboard brand activation to Westfield London, challenging shoppers to a game and sampling Pepsi Max Cherry, Lime and Mango.
The public were treated to full size Pepsi samples and invited to have a go on the branded Pepsi shuffleboard to have a chance at winning some Pepsi merch!

KFC x Greggs
To promote their collab, KFC and Greggs teamed up with Magic Number to sample their sausage roll and gravy pairing at 3 key locations: Queen’s Walk on the Southbank in London, Cathedral Gardens in Manchester City Centre and Newcastle City Centre with the pop-ups attracting some of the biggest queues we’ve ever seen!



Co-op
As part of their membership awareness campaign, Co-op targeted music-lovers at Reading Station as they passed through on their way to Reading Festival.
Co-op’s Hype Team encouraged festival-goers to sign up for Co-op membership and handed out over 1,000 branded bucket hats over the 1 day activation.



giffgaff
To mark the launch of giffgaff’s travel data add-ons, Splendid Communications and Hopper brought the holiday vibes to London Victoria Station over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Their holidata lounge featured a prosecco bar, ball pit and pic’n’mix stand as well as some aerobics demos to get the public moving!



NYX Cosmetics
NYX Cosmetics set-up at Queen’s Walk along the Southbank in August, inviting the public to “spill the gloss” đź’„
NYX fans were invited inside the branded taxi to share their cab confessions to win some makeup freebies and be featured on NYX’s Instagram page.



7UP
For their Pink Lemonade tour, 7UP worked with Ann Squared to get the public thinking pink at cities across the UK.
At London King’s Cross Station, the team invited people to have a go on their Pink Water Swing, while at Manchester Spinningfields the brand used their pink refresh window to distribute samples. Other stops on the tour included Bullring Birmingham, Manchester Piccadilly Station and Victoria Centre Nottingham. The campaign has been a resounding success with over 200,000 samples distributed across 8 cities.
