Brands and agencies are extra creative in the run up to Christmas - we love all of the festive promotions! Here are some 2022 Christmas activation highlights.
JUST EAT
Commuters at London Waterloo station had the chance to donate to Just Eat’s Winter Meal Appeal. The Giving Grotto activation, created by Mischief PR, encouraged passers-by to donate what they could. In return, Just Eat gifted them a free meal through their food delivery platform. This Christmas activation was a reminder that giving is no less important than receiving, especially over the festive period!

ASDA
ASDA premiered its Christmas advert with a magical and immersive experience at London King’s Cross station! Visitors to this festive activation were invited to sit in sleighs and given ASDA mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine to enhance their festive spirits. The Christmas promotion was created by Electric Sunshine.

LUSH
LUSH’s Snow Fairy pop-up returned back for the 2022 festive period! The holiday promotion visited a range of shopping centres and gave shoppers a chance to sample and purchase the limited-edition product line.

COCKBURN’S PORT
Commuters at London Bridge station had a chance to experience this cosy Cockburn’s Port activation! In true holiday spirit, passers-by had the opportunity to meet the Cockburn’s family in their festive front room, where they could sample the product and raise a toast.

HEATHROW EXPRESS
Heathrow Express sponsored a Christmas tree at London Paddington station! The festive tree came complete with a moving model train wrapped around the tree, making stops at Paddington station, Heathrow Airport and, of course, The North Pole. They completed the Christmas takeover with a branded snow globe and a series of shows, including a ballerina, choir, and polar bears. This event was loved by passengers young and old.

NINTENDO
Nintendo worked with BD Network to bring this fun Nintendo Switch Sport pop-up to Victoria Centre, Nottingham! The team has toured a range of venues to raise awareness of the Nintendo Switch OLED. This Christmas activation was slightly different as visitors could try the latest Nintendo Switch sports games on Switch consoles.

JOHNNIE WALKER
This Johnnie Walker Blue Label roadshow reached consumers around the UK. The tour visited a range of different venues including Westfield London and London Liverpool Street station. The direct-to-consumer pop-up shops allowed visitors to pick up a great holiday gift quickly and conveniently. The pop-ups had additional services such as gift wrapping and bottle personalisation, making the product an even better gift choice!
