We love seeing how brands use experiential marketing in the run up to Christmas. Here are some of the highlights from Christmas 2021.
MAGIC RADIO CITY CENTRE ROADSHOW
Touring the UK in December, the Magic FM roadshow visited a host of city centres including Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Glasgow and Birmingham. The activation invited passers-by to snap a virtual selfie with the hosts of the Magic Radio breakfast show.
Virgin Media donated £1 to Carers UK for every spin on their festive spinner at King’s Cross station. This activation raised £3,000 for the charity, while also giving out some prizes to lucky commuters!
LAUNCH OF KYLIE COSMETICSTo celebrate the launch of Kylie Cosmetics, a roadshow visited London Kings Cross Station, Bluewater, Bullring, Liverpool One and Spinningfields in Manchester. Visitors to the experience were able to trial new shades of Kylie Cosmetics products and get candy floss with their purchase, as well as try their luck with the Kylie beauty grabber game.
KLARNA CHRISTMAS TREE
Commuters at London Paddington station were treated to this lovely Christmas tree, brought to the station by shopping app Klarna.
AMAZON TOP TEN TOYS
Amazon started off the festive season by bringing a ‘trending’ machine to Glasgow Central station – commuters were able to find out what the top 10 most popular toys were on amazon.co.uk for Christmas 2021.
The Witcher Snow globe
Netflix combined two of December’s most anticipated events, Christmas and the release of The Witcher season 2, into this festively scary snow globe.
